Kotor is beautiful, no doubt. Narrow streets, old stone walls, boats floating on the water, sunlight dancing on the facades. But if you’ve seen old towns in Montenegro, Croatia, or Italy, the feeling of déjà vu is inevitable. It won’t turn your world upside down, but compared to ordinary gray cities, it does feel magical. It’s a place to slow down, watch the light shift, listen to footsteps echo on the stone. Maybe not unique, but beautiful — and sometimes, that’s enough.
